What is Arive?

Arive is an augmented-reality menu and cross-restaurant loyalty network. Diners scan a QR code at the table, place 3D models of every dish on their table to see exact portion and presentation, and order in two taps. Restaurants get a higher average order value and a shared loyalty wallet that works at every Arive venue.

Do diners need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

No. The AR menu runs in the browser via WebXR on Android and AR Quick Look on iOS — no install. If diners want to track loyalty across venues or get tab handoff, they can install the free Arive app.

What devices are supported?

Accepted Answer

Any phone made in the last five years. iOS 13+ uses AR Quick Look; Android 8+ with ARCore uses WebXR. Older phones fall back to a 360° spin view of each dish.

How long does an AR model take to load?

Accepted Answer

Each dish is under 2 MB and served from Cloudflare's edge. First load is typically under a second on 4G; repeat loads are under 500 ms.

How much does Arive cost?

Three options: Standard at $99/month, Standard Annual at $999/year (about $83/month), or Loyalty Partner with no monthly fee and a flat 2% commission on Arive orders. A $19/month floor applies on Loyalty Partner months where commission earned would be lower.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The only paid add-on is on-site 3D scanning at $39 per dish, which Annual customers get a partial credit for. Stripe processing fees pass through at standard rates.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New venues get 14 days free on Standard so you can scan a few dishes, soft-launch with staff, and decide before billing starts.

How does cross-restaurant loyalty work?

Diners earn Arive Points on every order at any participating venue and redeem at any participating venue. Arive runs the ledger and settles between restaurants nightly via Stripe Connect, so no one is left holding the bag when a diner earns at one restaurant and redeems at another.

Won't my customers redeem at competitors?

In practice, redemption is dominated by repeat visits to favourites. Cross-venue redemption averages 12–18% of points spent and is a net acquisition channel — most diners discover new restaurants in the network because they already trust Arive.

Can I run my own promotions on top?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Arive Points are the floor; you can layer venue-specific promotions, happy-hour multipliers, or one-tap offers that don't touch the network ledger.

How long does onboarding take?

Seven days from contract to live AR menu — including scanning your top 20 dishes, building modifiers, training staff, and a soft launch.

Does Arive integrate with my POS?

Today: CSV / Square / Toast import and a webhook-friendly export. Native two-way integrations for Toast, Square, and Clover are on the 2026 roadmap.

Who owns the 3D models?

Accepted Answer

You do. Models are licensed exclusively to you and exportable in glTF and USDZ on request. If you leave Arive, the models leave with you.

Does Arive collect personal data?

Accepted Answer

Only what's required to run loyalty: phone or email, order history at participating venues, and dietary preferences you opt to share. No location tracking, no ad networks, no third-party trackers.

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One tap in the app deletes your account and queues a 30-day hard-delete of all personal data across the network.

Is the camera used for anything else?

Accepted Answer

No. The camera is only used by your phone's native AR layer to place 3D models on your table. Arive never receives camera frames.
